Phyllis J. Scalf and Robert L. Churchey MISSION STATEMENT As Conformation Handling instructors, we strive to share our commitment to the sport of purebred dogs with our students and demonstate that we are serious about the art of dog handling. Our training classes use positive training techniques that focus on building a relationship between handler and dog. As responsible breeders, our mission is to breed quality, healthy purebred dogs that are exceptional representatives of their breed. In December 2015, we retired as professional handlers to focus on handling classes, judge All-Breed AKC Junior Showmanship, and, handle our own dogs. Lifelong dog owners, we obtained our first show dog in 1986. Since that time, we trained and handled multiple breeds in our capacity as professional handlers (from 1999 to 2015). It is safe to say that we have fully integrated the dog fancy into our lives. ~ We strive to live our mission in every aspect of our lives. Phyl and Robert |
