CH Globe Blue Toi Mercedes Ruya JC SC ASFA FCH

Mercy was our foundation bitch. We are grateful and humbled that her breeders, Nelda and Virginia Vaughn of Globe Rhodesian Ridgebacks, entrusted her to our love and care. She brought light to our lives and produced our first Ruya-bred Rhodesian Ridgeback litter -- 13 puppies! 

Four of her puppies achieved AKC Championships and four obtained American Sighthound Field Association (ASFA) Field Championships with two of them taking a Best in Field. She was sired by  Can/Am CH Royalton's Blue Max out of CH Globe's CaLia Toi Soldier. Mercy was owned by Phyl Scalf, Robert Churchey, Shannon Churchey and Ryan Churchey.

Dyna was Group placing and took Best in Sweepstakes at the Orange Coast Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Regional Specialty. Six of her puppies obtained AKC Championships which resulted in a Register of Merit (ROM) from the national breed club.

She was the granddam of our home and quietly commanded the respect of her pack. She was ever watchful and loved being with puppies -- both her own and those of her daughter, Bonnie. She was a calm yet determined dam that ruled her litters with strict but loving discipline.

She was bred by Virginia and Nelda Vaughn of Globe Rhodesian Ridgebacks and sired by CH Globe Ca-Abi Reign on Teaser ROM out of CH Globe's Embraceable Toi. Dyna was owned by Phyllis Scalf & Robert Churchey.

CH Ruya's DustDevil Mercedes' Sun JC SC ASFA FCH

Dusty was sired by CH Globe Ca-Abi Reign on Teaser ROM out of CH Globe Blue Toi Mercedes Ruya JC SC ASFA FCH. Dusty was born on June 2, 1993 and was the longest lived from the litter of 13 puppies; he passed away at age 14½. 

He was handled to his AKC Championship by then Junior Handler Ryan Scalf Buzard and was her devoted and loyal companion.  Bred by Phyllis Scalf, Robert Churchey, Shannon Scalf Churchey and Ryan Scalf Churchey, his owners were Ryan Scalf Buzard and Kevin Buzard, Jr. Dusty was the "grandpa" of the Buzard home and led the other dogs with calm dignity. 

Dusty's daughter, CH Pumamere's Tandika Rafiki, owned by Natalie Carlton, has carried on his conformation to the standard through her offspring sired by Int'l BIS Int'l/AM CH Ruya's Chevelle Super Sport CGC: Pumamere Ruya Its All about Me "Libby;" Pumamere Ruya Millennia Legacy "Lena;" and, CH Pumamere's Tambulika Chevelle "Tambu."
